The panel session will showcase successful Big Data projects and applications of Pulse Lab Kampala that unlock new digital data sources in Africa. The objective of the session will be to share our experiences in working with our partners to discover new, innovative digital data sources that can advance the Global Goals, and to exchange with participants on the use of data innovations for their own organizations. The focus of the session and the discussions will be on the groundbreaking digital application developed to conduct Radio Content Analysis (radio mining), developed by Pulse Lab Kampala and partners. The panel will reflect on the opportunities and challenges of this world wide innovation including discussion on data privacy and protection considerations.
