Economic Partnership Agreements

Economic Partnership Agreements

Promoting development through trade in Africa, Carribean and the Pacific

Economic Partnership Agreements are now implemented in a majority of ACP countries. Some countries are still in the process of signing/ratifying EPAs. EPAs are increasingly the standard framework for trade relationships between Europe and ACP countries. But now that the foundations are there, how do we build on the partnership to make sure that the EPAs actually deliver? How to seize the opportunities created by EPAs? What has worked so far? How do we improve? The stand will serve as a gathering point for all stakeholders interested in trade and economic development matters, and is linked to a series of labs and brainstorming sessions that will take place during the European Development Days.
