CPDE aims to showcase the importance of partnering effectively with civil society to ensure robust recovery from the pandemic by drawing on our comprehensive study on the effectiveness of the COVID-19 response.
We gathered stories from communities bearing the brunt of the pandemic, which face the risk of being further marginalised. These expose how measures taken to mitigate the impact of the pandemic have been used to silence critical voices and hinder civil society participation. We are also featuring recommendations from CSOs on steps that will pave the way for sustainable recovery.
