With the support of KfW, PMCG with its partner organisations, supports the cities, municipalities and the Solid Waste Management Company of Georgia (SWMCG) to:
- Extend and improve municipal waste management services;
- Enable SWMCG and local self-governments to effectively manage municipal waste services;
- Introduce composting and recycling technologies;
- Develop and implement management information systems;
- Support in ensuring financial self-sustainability of the new solid waste management systems;
- Raise awareness of the local population regarding sanitary landfills
