African & European Youth tackling common challenges: AU-EU Youth Cooperation Hub

A new approach in the AU-EU Partnership, now piloted for sustainable climate change, investment, governance, digital innovations & skills!

The EU and AU have committed to focus on youth to better address the challenges facing them. The 5th AU-EU Summit, "Investing in Youth", created the aspiration to "walk the talk", based on the people centred principle of the Partnership, by strengthening the inclusion of young people. The AU-EU Youth Cooperation Hub enables youth to be actively involved in improving how development cooperation works by testing new approaches. Launched in October 2018, it gathers 42 Young Experts from both continents, setting the precedence for an active and meaningful inclusion of youth, beyond tokenism.
