The next two decades will be decisive for the future of the planet. The strategies, policies and investments during this period, and the capital they lock in, will, in large measure, determine the future path of global emissions and thus climate change over this century. Following the release of an expert report commissioned by the UN Secretary General (Delivering on the $100 billion climate finance commitment and transforming climate finance), this panel brings together key actors from across the global finance eco-system to debate how to unlock transformational climate finance: to turn the billions into the trillions and harness development finance to jointly enable a green socio-economic revolution.
