Supporting local green enterprises in developing countries: who, why and how?

Introducing SEED enterprises, their impact and how to finance them at scale

SEED, founded in 2002, is a global partnership for action on sustainable development and the green economy.  Our 2020 enterprise programmes in Asia and Sub-Sahara Africa support small and growing local green enterprises with finance, business and capacity-building. Our ecosystem programmes focus on policy, financing and collaboration instruments that multiply the social, environmental and economic impacts of entrepreneurship. We welcome you in our exhibition stand where we will showcase innovative locally driven enterprises from Sub-Sahara Africa and Asia; their models and impact. We'll also share experiences with bottom-up design of financial instruments and programmes that make finance for eco-inclusive SMEs available at scale.
