Overcoming inequalities in agriculture

Supporting rural and vulnerable communities facing environmental, economic and educational inequalities

Plant pests and diseases, climate change, invasive species, water scarcity, lack of access to information and advice are all causes of inequality and disproportionally affect rural and vulnerable communities in low income countries. Within those groups, female farmers and young people are even more disadvantaged. With its wide-ranging work in agriculture and the environment, CABI aims to mitigate these inequalities and give farmers the tools they need to increase their income and food security and become more climate resilient. Together with our partners and member countries, we aim to build a world which leaves no farmer behind.
