This high-level panel will bring together notable and relevant leaders to share their perspectives and experiences on what it takes to move societies out of conflict. Speakers will discuss what works in addressing root causes of conflicts in an inclusive way, including political efforts related to mediation, peacebuilding and dialogue. The panel will explore how conflict prevention efforts at community, national and international levels can lead to positive, tangible results for the whole population, and consider how international partners can better support local efforts. It will emphasise active and targeted inclusion of marginalised people, power redistribution, fairer access to resources and services, and increased participation by the marginalised in public life.
