Digital Innovations for more Transparency, Participation and Inclusiveness

Activities and Experiences of German Development Cooperation around the World

Broadband Connectivity, Drones, Blockchain, promising platforms and apps, 3D Printers: Digital tools together with the capacity and skills to use them can overcome the digital gap between people and regions thanks to accessibility to knowledge and products and more transparency and accountability. Currently German Development Cooperation is implementing 482 digital projects in around 90 partner countries. At their joint stand, BMZ and its implementing organizations GIZ, KfW and Engagement Global will interactively showcase projects and examples on how digitalisation can reduce and overcome inequalities and pave the way to an inclusive society. Stories and experiences of digital innovators, such as the health care start-up Doctoora, will foster the exchange.
